Welcome to 2006parents! This community is designed for anyone who has had their child/children in the year 2006 or were expected to have their child/children in the year 2006. Limiting this will make everyone's child/children somewhat close in age. This way, if anyone has questions, another member will be able to help with a fresh idea, as they may have just gone through it or be going through it. The community will start off slow because, well, its the beginning of 2006 : ). I hope everyone finds a good use for this community and would like to join.
If you would like to join the community simply click here. Upon joining your request will be sent to a Mod of the community and accepted in a timely fashion. You may be subject to rejection if,
a) You have never posted in your journal.
b) Your journal is brand new.
c) We have no way of confirming your information.
d) If you are a member of several 'snarking' communities, you may be subject to rejection. This will apply to all members who have any such communities added, or watched. This is a safe community.
Once accepted you may fill out the 2006parents short survey and post it. Doing this will allow other members to get to know you. These entries will be marked friends-only to ensure the information stays within the community. I, or any other maintainer, will NOT tolerate copy and pasting into ANY other livejournal community, or journal. Doing so would be a violation of copyright and Livejournal's TOS.
Copy and paste this into your entry boxes. Do NOT USE rich text editor when updating.
1) Do not change any entries to public.
2) Do not copy and paste anything from this community.
3) Please put images under a livejournal cut.
4) Do not 'fight' with another member of the community.
(If you are having problems with a certian member please contact
one of the Mods with the issue.)
5) If you are going to answer someone's question about touchy subjects
please answer with a comment meaning to help. This means, don't comment
saying, "Don't bottlefeed, breatfeeding is better." Etc. Everyone has their
reason, and this isn't a place to dispute which is better.
Subject to change if needed.
